Terms of Service
By using openstrate.pro, the OpenStrate Recon workspace or the building agent (the “Service”), you agree to these terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you represent that you may bind it.
The Service
OpenStrate provides scan-to-BIM reality capture, IFC model generation, a 3D viewer and an AI building agent for the architecture, engineering and construction industry. Features may change as the product evolves.
Accounts
Some features require signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access secure.
Acceptable use
- Upload only content you have the right to use.
- Don’t misuse the Service, attempt to breach security, or interfere with other users.
- Don’t use the Service unlawfully or to infringe others’ rights.
Your content
You retain ownership of the IFC files and models you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the Service to you (for example, generating BIM, plans and viewer assets, and answering your questions). You can delete your content or ask us to.
Our intellectual property
The Service, software, models and branding are owned by Spacial Intelligence Labs. These terms grant you no rights in them except to use the Service as intended.
Professional-judgement disclaimer
Important. Scan-to-BIM output, measurements, and the building agent’s answers — including any reference to the BC Building Code (BCBC) or code compliance — are provided as an assistive aid. They may contain errors and are not a substitute for review by a qualified architect, engineer or other professional, nor for the authority having jurisdiction. Do not rely on them for permitting, construction or safety decisions without independent professional verification.
Free tier & availability
We may offer free scans or trials and may change or discontinue them. The Service is provided on an “as available” basis and may have downtime.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, OpenStrate is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim (or, if you paid nothing, CAD $100).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada, and disputes are subject to the courts of British Columbia.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. See also our Privacy Policy.
